Harnessing Thermal Energy for Sustainable Hospital Heating
At Claywood Construction, we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to complete projects sustainably. In our latest work, we are assisting E.ON with the construction of an energy centre for an NHS hospital in Nottingham. This month's blog post explores how thermal energy from 76 250-meter-deep boreholes is being used to provide heating to the hospital, with a focus on the innovative roof design that protects the building from harsh temperatures all year round.
